La nota casa d’aste genovese lancia un nuovo dipartimento di vini e distillati diretto da Gelasio Gaetani d’Aragona
Che il vino in Italia, e nel mondo, sia considerato un’icona di inestimabile valore storico è oramai patrimonio condiviso. Una risorsa che, da sempre, trascende i propri confini per espandersi e conquistare nuove frontiere e mercati emergenti, e da alcuni decenni è divenuto brend che contraddistingue il life stile e l’investimento collezionistico d’eccellenza, secondo una secolare tradizione anglosassone.

A dirigere “Wine&Spirits” una delle personalità più eclettiche ed in vista del settore: Gelasio Gaetani d’Aragona. Proprietario della tenuta di Argiano a Montalcino, è scrittore, giornalista, consulente enoico e fondatore (con Roberto Wirth, proprietario dello storico Grand Hotel Hassler) di “The International Wine Academy of Roma”. The famous Genoese auction house launches a new department of wines and spirits

So, in the Italian wine scene, a new protagonist makes its way: the prestigious Genoese auction house Wannenes which, specialized in the most important artistic categories (in the first 6 months 2018 has awarded lots for over 11.5 million euro), has recently launched Wine & Spirits, a department dedicated to wine and spirits. A division that, in addition to representing an added value to the offer of the auction house – even more extensive and competent – testifies the cosmopolitan essence that constitutes its distinguishing mark. Peculiarities that, in a constantly evolving contemporary, led Wannenes to embrace wine, and distillates in general, as attest of the culture of the territory and of a tradition that is renewed through the generations.
Gelasio Gaetani d’Aragona is the director of “Wine & Spirits”, one of the most eclectic personalities of the sector. Owner of the Argiano estate in Montalcino, he is a writer, journalist, wine consultant and founder (with Roberto Wirth, owner of the historic Grand Hotel Hassler) of “The International Wine Academy of Rome”. He is a personality that best represents the stretch of excellence of the new department, which is preparing to start with the first auction next February.
